Purple Challenge

I made this for the meet the verve diva challenge of Jen's to use purple. You can learn more here: MTVD12. This was harder than I thought, I do not have alot of purple "stuff". Someone gave me the purple bling, it was much needed for this card. I wanted to use purple ribbon, but I did not have any....that is not something I will run out and buy. lol This is also Beate's weekend sketch challenge, you can learn more about that here: WSC59 . I also used my SU curly punch, I really luv that punch. If you have been thinking about buying it, think no more.; it is a must have. It is super simple to cut and layer. It leaves a good amount around the image that can be cut down and then stamp another to layer on. I need to study for a exam at school, so this is all for now. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

Congratulations Terry for being this weeks FS86!

I made this for todays challenge to case the featured stamper on SCS. Terry aka Terrore3 was named FS86. I chose to case her card here:

I kept the same lay-out but turned it to accammodate my stampendous penquin games stamp. I luv how she made the flowers extra special, so I made my penquins extra special by adding SU chunky glitter to their little bellies. I colored them with a blender pen and SU ink pads. I luv being able to use dp and the card not look fussy. I had this dp from last year it is Deja Views flurries & frost collection Christmas. I used a Martha Stewart small scallopy punch that I bought for only $5.00 at Michaels and layered it with SU 1 1/4" round punch. Our local Michaels now has lots of very cool stamps by Stampendous, so glad to see that so I won't have to pay shipping costs if ordered on line and I can use my Mikey coupons. thanks for stopping by and enjoy!

I may spend some of today looking for furniture......anyway back to todays challenge. Todays IC147 was to chose one of the colorful bedrooms, I chose the blue and chocolate room. I used my new stamp from Great Impressions, dandelions and falling seeds.....luv these stamps. I used styled silver hph, and an older SU dp. I added stickles to the falling seeds only, this will be going to a girlfriend. Thanks for stopping by and have a great Saturday. Enjoy!

Rainy Saturday

Well, it is Saturday and it is rainy.........this sounds like a great stamping day. Don't ya think? I wish I could, my day is pretty busy, errands to run, homework to do, and we have our company picnic today. DH and I work for the same company, he is actaully working today. I plan to have lunch with him today. Of course I want to find time to stamp, too. Maybe later this evening, thanks for stopping by. Enjoy!

Holly Jolly Christmas Bird

I made this for todays LSC187 to use only ribbon and a Christmas animal stamp. I used basicgreys fruitcake dp with SU's river rock and riding hood red cs. I stamped the inkadinkado Christmas bird in riding hood red and the covered him with dazzling diamonds. I put a squirt of glue on the corners and aslo added dazzling daimonds to the glue drop. I used the new SU curly punch, I luv the shape of this punch, soooo very cool! I aslo took my blender pen and river rock ink pad and colored the white stripe down the middle of the ribbon so it matched the river rock cs. thanks for visiting and enjoy!

My champion boxer Jesse

I am enrolled in a web design class at my local community college. I am so luvin this class, I can touch the creativity spot deep within. I had to design my very first web page, a small business. I chose to do a boxer care service, so I featured my boxer Jesse. I also added images of Silke's (sparkelgirl) boxer Luke, he is such a cutie. Check out her blog, she is listed as one of the ones a visit often. I have learned so much in this class and I am planning to continue with the next classes in the spring. Here is a picture of my baby Jesse.

featured stamper Shannon aka E3stamper

I made this card for todays challenge on SCS. I used the new in color pink pirouette, kraft, white, and bazzil bittersweet chocolate. I really luv that color, it a rich dark chocolate. I used the beauitful wide ribbon that came from Michael's $1 spot, and it matches this bittersweet choclate and the new pink perfectly, you gotta luv that. I used my new stamp set from Verve, abundant blessings, black tie birdies and my new curly tag punch. I popped the vase up, paper pierced the top panel, added twine, and cop-a-diles the eyelet....and there you have it! Congratulations Shannon, a well deserved honor!
