Challenge Cards



I have two more cards to share today, I have a big request for cards at the moment.  I used Taylor's Sketch, TESC115, Sketch Girl, SG15, and Jen's SFYTT.
There is my new favorite stamp again that Ippity flower, I luv it.  The sentiment is Verve.  The bottom card is all Verve.

I created this for today's Mojo141 sketch, you choose circle or square.  I made my little card in such a hurry, not real happy with it, but I can try again later.  I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day and a big thank you to all who have served for our freedom!  I used a chipboard flower, ran it though the Cuttlebug and then sponged it.  Added a few buttons and Melissa Frances Trim.  Be sure to check out the other mojo makers creations, they rocked it this week!  Enjoy.

Happy Birthday















Good afternoon, I hope that you are having some family fun time this weekend.  We had a cookout, nothing like hamburgers on the grill...yummy!  I have a couple of CAS cards to share, the one on the right is my CASE(copy and share everything) I have added something to go with CASE; BAGR (but always give recognition) to today's FS173, Emily's card.  I chose her card here, I so luvd all that background paper.....sweet.  It is what inspired the card on the left using the Clean & Simple Sketch, FTL92.  You can check out more of Emily's creations on her blog, Stamping Scoops.  I kept the fun glitter on the flowers, added a little distressing, and made mine square cards.  I used my newest  favorite stamp from Ippity set Now & Always.  I so adore the flowers in this set, you can layer them, change up with patterned paper and paper piece them; so many ideas not enough time.  These are also my submissions to the CAS DT call to use height, I added 3D foam squares.  I also wanted to share that my card here(bottom card), is featured over at the Ippity Blog using this same little set.  It is in my ETSY shop if you are interested*grin*.....I also wanted to share I had a couple of my tags featured over at the Unscripted Sketch Blog, I hope you can make time to play along with all of these great challenges.  The challenge blogs help me get all the card created that I need.  Have a wonderful evening, I will be back in the morning with this weeks mojo sketch and card.  Enjoy!

Butterflies & Polka Dots




Good evening I have a couple of cards to share, the first one is for my final week as the guest for the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog, if you have not played along with these sweet gals, give it a try.  They bring to you each and every week an new and different challenge, so much fun.  This weeks challenge is JUGS35, to use dry embossing.  I also used the colors/butterfly challenge for the Embellish Challenge.  I used the OCC Sketch and the polka dotted challenge from The Shabby Tea Room, #11.  I used cork for the butterfly as well as polka dotted embossing.  A huge appreciation to the gals at JUGS, you are fabulous!  Have a wonderful Saturday....enjoy!

We The People say, Thank You!



















Happy Friday, wow I have so waited for this long weekend.  I am so happy to bringing you my final creation has a guest with Sharon at No Time To Stamp.  I have had a wonderful time creating side by side with the talented women on her team....thank you!  This weeks challenge, ssnotime141, you are to create something using the colors from your countries flag, of course mine is the great ole USA!  I do not have any stamping on this card, I wanted to make a card to thank all the men and women who have served our country in the military, for that I am grateful!  I created the "We The People say, Thank You" sentiment on my computer using WORD.  I added a glass glitter star, I purchased the glass glitter on ETSY from this fabulous shop.  I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC75.  Have a wonderful weekend...don't forget to say thank you to a service man or women or both!  Enjoy.

With Sympathy

Wishing You Sunshine





















 I created this for today's CAS68, to make a summer themed card and for the CAS summer DT call, SUM2010CAS2.  I used summery colors, the sunshine sentiment, and the butterflies, looks like summer to me....lol.  I also used Jenny's Wee Memories Challenge, WMC7; to use something that flies, mine if the tiny butterfly attached to the ribbon.  I used the fun Cosmo Cricket designer paper De Lovely.  The polka dotted background is from the Verve set Bountiful Backgrounds, the sentiment is PTI Blooming Button Bits.   Have a wonderful day!  Enjoy.

Celebrate Tags



Good evening, I have made a couple of quick tags using several sketches.  Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, SSC70 and the Unscripted Sketch #56 are so similar, one of my tags is that sketch.  Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC74 is the other tag.  I used Jenni Bowlin designer paper, Jenni Bowlin Memo Note Book papers, and PTI Signature Greetings sentiment stamp set.  I added stitching, gemstones, a layered flower, and corduroy brads.  I hope you have had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the new week.  Enjoy!

Wishing You Sunshine





















I created this for my fourth week as the guest designer for Just Us Girls.  I have had a great time this month, the JUGS challenges are fun and new every week, I luv their concept.  This week they are challenging us to a Template, JUGS34; I have chosen the fun Slip Cover Template from the store of Lauren Meader.  I used the PTI set Button Bits, adding buttons and silver beads.  I added stitching to the cover and twill ribbon.  This slip cover holds A2 size cards perfectly, you could also fill it with candy, or stamping embellies and give it has a gift.  I used the colors from the Color Cue Color Challenge, #4.  I hope you play along, I make every effort to visit your blog and show some luv!  Have a wonderful Saturday.  Enjoy!

Sunshine & Smiles




















I created this for the ColorQ Color Challenge, CQC33, Card Patterns sketch, #64,and for today's IC233.  
I chose the green candy photo in the center, to see all of the sweets go here.  I used the Verve sets Budding Blossoms and Let It Shine.  I added a sunshine and smiles tag, I luv the look of these tiny tags.

Happy Father's Day



Good morning, it is time for another mojo sketch; Mojo139.  I really like today's sketch, I hope you will play along with us!  I wanted to use the colors from the Embellish Challenge and thought they looked manly so I made my Dad a Father's Day card.  I layered the stars to give depth.  I used the Brook Collection Designer paper from Crate Paper.  I added a little distressing and stitching.  Have a wonderful week, we are going to my step daughters this weekend to our granddaughter's dance recital.  We look forward to this every year, but even more so this year.  The last two months have been trying with my dh's heart and it's not over yet.  Keep us in your prayers.  It will be so nice to get away for a bit.  Enjoy!

Good morning, it is time for another Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, CIC59.  Remember everything is the Hope Stamps Eternal Store is 45% off, head over to get some great deals!  Aren't these the cutest sweet treats?  I used OCC sketch, OCCSC15 luv the square sketch.  I also have a "data dig" to share, my "data digs" are things I have discovered whether it is my idea or another designer.  It is a must to always give credit to the creator's direct link.  I want to share the easiest way to make the ribbon scrunchy, it is from Ashley's blog, you can view the video here.   For my card I stamped the stems and then ran the EK Success Chipboard flowers through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder, you can see embossing folders here in the HSE store.  I added a little stitching and a piece of Bittersweet Basicgrey designer paper down the side.  Have a wonderful day...enjoy!

Verve Ready, Set, Stamp!





















 
Happy Saturday, I am sharing this fabulous Verve set Up, Up, and Away.  This is the best set for paper piecing, I luv paper piecing!  I am not the best at coloring and really think using designer papers to cover images is so dramatic, luv that.  Julee started a new monthly challenge last month, where you use a specific stamp set to create something for your chance to win Verve.  This month it is Ready, Set, Stamp Challenge:  Up, Up, and Away.
