Mojo Monday Sketch-Fun Is Good....Enjoy!

Good morning it is mojo time again.....I just luv Monday's...hehehehehe.  This weeks Mojo Monday Sketch, you choose circle or square.....I have lots of people ask about how to make circle cards.  Here is a link to super simple directions that I wrote out.  I have given both complete circle or with the top squared off, I prefer to have mine look like a complete circle.  You can decide how you want yours, it is personal preference...no right or wrong...that is what I luv about creating!  At the top of my blog is a section that is labeled "Just 4 You"  if you click on that you will find many links for making lots of things....feel free to use them.  Do let me know if you have any great tutorials I will add them my list.
For today's card I used the saying from Dr. Seuss...."fun is good"...this is an awesome circle semntiment and the entire stamp set comes with wonderful quotes and sayings.  This is a must have set, it is called Beautiful You....I luv it!  I also stamped a flag sentiment...enjoy...you know I luv that!  It is from the Verve set Enjoy, this set is also amazing.  The flowers can be turned upside down and it becomes a butterfly.....how cool is that?  I hope you will play along with us....making circle cards are sooooo fun!  They are the perfect little sumin sumin to leave on a coworkers desk, stick in a briefcase, lunch box, or purse to express your affections!  Have a great Monday....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Inspired Verse

Hello peeps, I have a card creation to share made with a favorite stamp set of mine from Stampendous....this set is awesome; it is called Inspired Verse Set.  The verses are the perfect size to add on, you can add them to a card that has a colored image or make it the focal point as I did here.  This designer paper is fabulous, it is from Prima and it is called Madeline.  I used the circle and star Nesties for the shapes and added glass glitter to the star.  I am sharing the inside of my card as well.  I usually add a little sumin sumin to the inside, I thought I would give you a peek today.  If you have not been to the Stampers Dream Store lately...wow...you need to head over there and check out all the NEW items coming in from the CHA order!

Square CAS- hi

Hi friends, I hope you have had a great weekend, mine has been fast but good!  I wanted to play along with a couple of CAS challenges, the CAS106 from Monday is a sketch.  Today's FS211, Cookie has a CAS style; I chose her card here to case. I used Saturday's IC272 as my inspiration, the site is wall art.  My piece of designer paper is similar to the art on the walls as it makes the room and the gorgeous print makes the card.  I also played along with the Etsy Inspired Challenge, using this sweet clay pot as inspiration, the ribbed top is like my letters and similar colors.   There is no stamping on my square card, I used cardboard letters from JillyBean Soup.  I did stamped on them and also added glass glitter the the letters and the edges of my card.  A super simple CAS card for me today.  This is also fits this months Dirty Dozen theme, "Days of Our Lives" I hope you will play along with us!  If you cannot see the gallery consider joining SCS as a Fan Club Member.  I hope you have a fantastic evening, be sure to check back in the morning for my Mojo Monday Sketch card....enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch-You Are Fabulous

Good morning it is time for another Mojo sketch, Mojo177; I had such fun with this one.  I used the colors from this weeks Curtain Call, Act68 and the JUGS69 challenge to make your own 3D flower.  I made one of the accordion flowers using sheet music paper, I topped it with a button and bakers twine.  I added stitching to the diamond panel, stamped the "Fabulous You" sentiment on a tag and stitched it to the main panel.  I also added a small piece of lace trim to the tag, so cute.  I finished it off with two stick pins, with tiny pink flower tops, so very cute.  I hope your Monday is fabulous...I cannot wait to see what you come up with using this weeks Mojo sketch!  Enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Happy Birthday To You

Hello friends....it has been a long time....I am back from CHA and have pictures to share, but they will not be for another day or two.  I caught the nastiest bug I have ever had in my whole life.....I am not one to get sick much or stay sick, but I have been down for the count since Wednesday.  I feel like I lost three days of my life...lol......I sure hope none of the gals that where at CHA get what I had.  I am feeling a little better but still not back to myself.  I was able to pull myself together long enough to make a card using the new JutsRite set; Birthday Celebration.   I got to meet the lovely Michelle Rodger at CHA and she is back and has added some new stuff to the Stampers Dream Store, this JustRite set is one of the new things she added.  I stamped the flower like image and cut it out, luv how it looks like a flower, don't you?  I colored it with copics and added my favorite glass glitter to the edges....such a sweet look.  The sentiment reads "Happy Birthday To You".  I finished my card with ric rac trim, bakers twine, and stick pins from Jenni Bowlin.  The papers are from Basicgrey collection called Marjoliane....so soft and pretty!  I used Jen's SFYTT and I played along with the gals from The EtsyInspired Challenge, I used the cute headband as my inspiration.
