Glitz Design

Good morning Glitz fans!  Let me get right to the point this morning, I adore this first  Ok, I know we shouldn't go around saying that about our own work, but I am really saying it about Glitz and the gorgeous products!  This card came together so quickly and yet it really pops.

I have used the gorgeous piece of designer paper from the Happy Travels pack and then added the epoxy stickers at random.  Added a burlap bow with a button and there you have it, a super easy card.  A perfect card for a young girl stepping out on her own, a retired person, or even someone headed for vacation.

Supplies Used:
Glitz Design Paper: Happy Travels
Glitz Design Epoxy Words:  Happy Travels

For my second card I have used the card stock sticker from the Pretty In Pink collection.  I have used the numbered paper layers from Pretty In Pink collection too.

I added a doily spritzed with Mr Huey's spritz, the seam binding bow with the gorgeous polka dotted rhinestone that I have been hording...teehehehe.  I also have the "smile" glitzers layered at the top of my card.    A great card for a word of engorgement.  Hope you have a wonderful day, remember to is a series of thousands of tiny miracles!

Have a wonderful day, be sure to sprinkle it with a little Glitz!

Frilly & Funkie Step x Step-Let It Snow

Good morning friends, I am sharing this weeks Step x Step over at Tje Frilly & Funkie Blog.  I am sharing some of the gorgeous and shabby Melissa Frances embellishments.  I adore snowflakes and Melissa Frances has some chipboard snowflakes that you embellish yourself(they are sold out now), so sweet!

I wanted them to have script/sheet music on them, so I covered them with gesso and then smoothed out the sheet music onto them and then carefully lifted the paper off.

This is right after I lifted the paper, I was not worried about the edges; it does not have to be perfect to be shabby.  I want to distress the ends anyway with ink, so bare cardboard will be covered in a shabby fashion.

I also covered them with Tim Holtz glitter and then I added  the Melissa Frances paper garland to the center; and yes it is pink!  A little more frilly and girly.

I completed my card with more goodies from the Funkie Junkie Boutique, the lace trim,
Melissa Frances Chrismtas Flashcards , and the pink ribbon.  The pink ribbon is what some of my goodies where wrapped in when I placed my order, I surely can't waste it...teehehehe.  The pink jingle bells I also made, spray painted them and covered them in Glossy Accents, and the Tim Holtz glitter.   I am so luvin the pink, a true frilly..*grin*.  Have a super day and be sure to stop by The Funkie Junkie Boutique and pick up your Melissa Frances goodies today!
